Windy Beach Cottages  located at Mangsit, four kilometres north of central Senggigi, the main tourist centre of Lombok. Mangsit is now becoming an exclusive tourist area with many boutique hotels, and Windy Beach Resort is tucked away under the palm trees at the north end of the beach.

Despite being the first hotel along the entire north-west coast between central Senggigi and the Gili islands, we remain one of the best kept secrets because of our quiet ambience and next to nature atmosphere. We occupy probably the best 300 metre stretch of beachfront along the coastline. A beautiful stretch of quiet uncrowded sand. In case you are wondering if it is really windy at Windy Beach, may we explain. “Windy” is the name of the establishment, not because it is particularly windy, although the cool breezes off the ocean can be very pleasant, but because it was named after Dayu Windy, the late wife of the owner. She was Balinese and was the main driving force behind the early development of the hotel, in the mid-1980’s.

Restaurant: Our restaurant in this beautiful seaside setting, is an open-sided Balinese pavilion and can seat up to 50 people. It serves a wide variety of good food, including Indonesian, Chinese and European dishes. Alternatively just relax over a long cool drink in one of our four beach-front and garden berugak (grass-roof dining pavilions), or at the bar, which is located in the corner of the restaurant and has a wide selection of cocktails and other tempting drinks to whet your appetite.

Just let yourself unwind – “Unwind at Windy” – listen to the soothing music of the waves caressing the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets, with the sun sinking in the west behind Bali and Gunung Agung, the great volcano of Bali, providing a majestic and perfect backdrop. This outstanding spacious villa sleeps 7 comfortably offering 2 large double and 1 triple bedroom. All bedrooms are air conditioned, with king size beds.
Each bedroom has an en suite garden bathroom. The large sitting area has flat screen TV and DVD.
The marble terrace runs full length of the villa giving ample space for al fresco dining, lounging and taking some shade. Steps from the terrace lead directly into the swimming pool.
This villa enjoys magnificent views out to the ocean and across to Bali and Mount Agung. Meals can be served to your terrace on request.
